According to reports, the fishermen who disappeared on October 25 went to sea despite government warnings and did not issue sailing orders. In addition, the Philippine Coast Guard reported that at least 577 passengers were trapped in several ports in the southern Philippines, including nearly 24 ships in 23 ports. Another 121 ships have reportedly taken measures to avoid the typhoon.

According to reports, at the height of the storm, an inter-island ro-ro ship ran aground on rough seas after an engine failure. The Philippine Coast Guard is assisting the five crew members safely on Bonito Island while waiting for the rescue of the tugboat. In addition, it is reported that a private ship sank in southern Manila during the storm. According to reports, the Coast Guard rescued 7 people on board but is still looking for another person.

During the storm, the Philippine government reported that port operations in Manila were suspended. Although the capital was hit by strong winds, no major damage was reported. The port is expected to resume operations soon. The wind is weakening, but as the storm advances westward, the rain continues.
